IP WHOIS Lookup
Find out who an IP address or network is registered to. The lookup asks the regional internet registry that holds the address, whether that is ARIN, RIPE NCC, APNIC, LACNIC or AFRINIC, and shows how the block was handed down from IANA to the network, with its abuse contact.
IPv4 or IPv6, for example 8.8.8.8, 2001:4860:4860::8888 or 193.0.0.0/21. A hostname is looked up by its first address.
Registration data says who a registry handed the addresses to, not who is using them right now or where they are. Networks are often reassigned to customers without a public record, and the network that announces a block on the internet can differ from the one that holds it. To learn how addresses are handed out, read How IP Addresses Are Allocated; for what this tool asks and how, see IP WHOIS Lookup technical details.
