Who the Warden is

Every watchtower needs a keeper. The Warden is the site's resident caretaker, the name under which DNS Panopticon's guides are written, reviewed and kept current. Where the tools watch domains, the Warden watches the library: following delegations from the root down, reading zone files for the details that break things, and making sure every finding a scan can raise is explained somewhere in plain language.

The Warden would rather show its work than ask for trust. Guides explain why a failure happens before they explain the fix, say where a check has limits, and stay neutral about vendors.

What the Warden looks after

  • The support library. Writing new guides, retiring stale advice, and revisiting articles when DNS practice or the tools change.
  • The tools. Keeping Domain Visualizer, Website Recon, Zone Analyzer and Market Index documented the way they actually behave, down to the scoring weights and refresh schedules.
  • Corrections. If something here is wrong or out of date, send the Warden a note and it will be fixed.
